Svc was awesome today!!! Today is really about our church, our life! No matter what challenges we face, we’ll stay strong together as a family ♥ People always say we’re just concerned about the numbers and membership but pastor kong is right, it isn’t about the numbers, it is about the souls saved because each number represents a life that Christ Jesus died on the cross for. We reach out to people because God loves people! The number of lives changed at CHC is incredibly huge and we are all testimonies to a living God
The worth of any action is measured by amount of opposition and level of difficulty we go through to achieve it. Yupz, we won’t let anyone hijack our faith and I’m excited for pledging weekend!! To do my part in building lives I am really proud to be part of this family!
On a side note, the F1 racing sounds were really cool! HAHA

Yups yups finally went to church and it was an amazing service really. I have soooo many things to say!!

The theme was COME TOGETHER and everyone was dressed up in really cool concepts!! Celebrations kicked off with a superduperuber cool dance from the dance ministry!! IT WAS LIKE STEP UP 3 FINALE, EXCEPT IN REAL LIFE ^^ The LED lights and everything in real life is just WOAH SUPER COOL!! Loads of performances including the digital choir! I WAS MINDBLOWN. I saw it on some TED video that the GP department sent us about the guy who first attempted the digital choir but I never ever thought I would see one!!!! It was really touching, especially since they had spent the last 14 months working on it! There was also Project Love, videos showing the work CHC has done in other countries! To see the number of people who have benefited from the works is just really amazing. Hostel upgrades, rebuilding of houses, giving out food and most importantly, spreading the word of God Seeing the children in Jakarta praying honestly touched my heart and I hope the children ministry will continue to keep expanding woohoo!
It was truly a great celebration, all put together not for others to see, but for one audience – God
I am everything I am because You love me!

Pastor Kong talked about generosity.

But a generous man devises generous things, And by generosity he shall stand. – Isaiah 32:8

Generosity is the sign of my maturity (: Three ways to show generosity – in gestures, in grace and in giving! The person who looks up to God rarely looks down to people. I was very generous in giving today too hehe so proud of myself

Afterwards, Pastor Kim Sung Hae came up to deliver a message and perform a beautiful piano piece related to it. She is a really cute lady!! Love her heart shape at the end, and love it even more that Pastor Yonggi Cho did it at the end of his video too What a beautiful couple who are blessed by God! ^^ Anyway, with her really cute accent, she talked about how God wants us to know our calling and how we should work together with God. Stand together united in God, like how roots of trees get tangled together so we will never be beaten down! “not by might, nor by power, but by My spirit” says the Lord Almighty.

but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life. – John 4:14

Nothing is impossible with God! ^^

Then finally Pastor Yonggi Cho took the stage!! He is truly an amazing man, leading the world’s biggest church and going all over the world to preach the word of God! Pastor himself is living proof of God, who he had an encounter with. He completely healed his sickness, made him His servant and now we have the honor of hearing Pastor Yonggi Cho preach He talked about 2 Corinthians! Personally, it was really an answer to my prayers.

We have to always remember that He sacrificed Himself to free us from sin, poverty, failure, death and hell. You are not alone because He is in you all the time, and we are dying and resurrecting along with him all the time, right now, right here. I must understand that through Jesus Christ, I am 100% free and legally speaking, I have been free since 2000 years ago. He died so I can stand in front of God without condemnation. I am no longer me, I am new in Jesus Christ.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. -2 Corinthians 5:17

So firstly, I have to understand the meaning of crucification in Jesus Christ. He died for me and my sins so that I can be free from suffering eternally. He was crucified for our curse 2000 years ago so that I can now be the subject of blessing and prosperity. He paid the price for all my sins, poverty etc and He has conquered hell and death. Since this conquerer is living in us, why for are we afraid of death? Pastor Yonggi Cho told us about the story of a man who had nothing initially but with the love of God, turned into a millionaire today. Pastor himself was also poor but as we all know, you may be poor today but if you follow Jesus Christ, you will not be poor all your life He also told us the story of a lady suffering from cancer who repeatedly copied the scriptures for 10 days and while she was busily writing, she forgot about the pain and was entirely healed. Praise the Lord Sometimes He doesn’t grant you healing immediately, but we gotta remember it is because “I am strong through your weakness”
Secondly, we have to see ourselves completely delivered from sin, unholiness, sickness, disease, failure, death, hell through visions and dreams. I am completely safe, righteous, healed and blessed by God and if I can see it, I will be it
Thirdly, I have to believe this truth in my heart. Vision and dreams work together with faith and to have faith is to believe in impossibility & we have to express our faith through words, through speaking. God created the world by speaking so to be more like Him, we gotta speak! ^^ Believing in God is like removing thrash from a room so that bugs will stop going in like how evil will disappear from our lives haha! & with God, good things will enter our lives naturally.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. – Romans 8:28

Right now, I am saved, I am healed, I am delivered.

THIS IS OUR TRUTH!
Many people don’t understand and like Pastor Yonggi Cho said, some people criticize it … but now they’re believing in the truth too

I see the truth, I believe in this truth and I will speak about it. What I say will come true in faith and in Jesus Christ. Miracles will happen in my life, everywhere, everyday. I am blessed and victorious. I enjoy life through death of Jesus Christ. I am a wonderful person in Jesus.

So, it was honestly an answer to my prayers. and this too! I am made new in Jesus Christ and today really helped me rearrange my perspective. I am living for God! and I hope as He “takes me higher, draws me deeper~”, He will restore the joy that He gave me but slowly seemed to have disappeared!

Sooo after everything, I’m now reading 2 Corinthians and there’s just one line I want to share with… whoever might be reading this. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. – 2 Corinthians 4:18 All these earthly things, grades, scholarships, money blah blah, they are nothing compared to our relationship with God The victory has already been won for us!!

Haha alright what a long post. Feel rather enlightened tonight, though slightly still bothered by something else I read in 2 Corinthians. Shall pray about it and get a good sleep!

I wish I had more time to do things I love.
Since there’s only this fixed amount of time we have each day, it only makes sense that I’d have to shift my priorities to make more time for myself.
Then it’ll lead down to the biggest question of all.

What should my priorities be?

By grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Recently felt like I was backsliding, drifting away from God and I thought, what happened to the girl who was on fire for Him, who was living for Him, who was a faithful Child of God.

I’m so sorry Lord Life has been so confusing recently, but I know Your light will guide me through this.

Nightmares, images burned at the back of my mind.
Tired sigh, fever went up to as high as 40.3, had to figure out my way to kitchen at 3am to get panadol lololz, so tired sigh. I think all my brain cells die already LOL. Hope I’ll survive lessons tomorrow~~

You know everyone has their own sad stories and they bury their past deep within them but no matter how deep you bury it, once in a while, it’ll still resurface. Once in a while, you’ll be reminded of everything that has happened, the pain, the hurt, everything. I guess today is one of those days.

And sometimes I wonder if people knew all my secrets, what would they think of me. Cuz I’m so different from who everyone thinks I am. Then again, that’s how everyone is.

Mahalalel – The Blessed God
Jared – Shall come down
Enoch – Teaching
Methuselah – His death shall bring
Lamech – The Despairing
Noah – Rest, or comfort.

Sudden thought abt the girls that i survive school with everyday while clar was using us as a mock audience today HAHAHA We may be like the slackest, most bochap, always late (like seriously? who wakes up for school at 8.50 and still decide to go for breakfast first HAHAH) people in the class but we’re the funniest ones around man HAHAHA. Idk I think school life is more bearable cuz of these people, namely @weeqin @clarchern @blendatan @kbattack @jingwenzi ♥ Like idk we make the smallest things interesting, like the kueh jingwen likes to eat looks like lipids seriously!!! and aiming to be the first to leave LT and beat the boys to the canteen!! going to toilet in the middle of lesson and taking forever to get back :p desire to pon class all the time, finding out the offers in happy days!! Looking out for spongebob HAHA etcetc. And we can always talk abt serious stuff anytime hehe. I think I’m blessed to have such awesome friends in class, we’re so awesome people would be jealous of us!! HAHA kiddingz, i love my friends ^^

Anyway How to save a life is nice!! Sorry la a bit lag, have been living w/o music for pretty much the whole year sigh SO SADDDD :’( Ok i shall go shower now teehee bye. I realize I like to announce to the whole world whenever I want to go to toilet LOLOL random ok yups byebye people HEHE.
